Your Privacy Choices

You have choices about how your personal information is used. This page explains what those choices are and how to exercise them.

Opt out of sharing for advertising

We share limited information with advertising platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Google) to measure ad performance and reach similar audiences. Under California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state privacy laws, this is treated as "sharing" or "selling" of personal information.

To opt out:

  • Use the Global Privacy Control browser signal. We automatically honor GPC. Most privacy-focused browsers (Brave, DuckDuckGo) send it by default. In Firefox or Chrome you can enable it with an extension.
  • Email support@petrasecurity.com. Tell us you want to opt out of the sharing of your personal information. We'll process the request within 15 days.
Other privacy requests

You can also ask us to:

  • Show you what personal information we have about you
  • Correct information that's inaccurate
  • Delete your information
  • Stop sending you marketing emails (or just use the unsubscribe link in any email)

Email support@petrasecurity.com with the request. We'll verify your identity by replying to the email address we have on file, then respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30 to 45 days).

Authorized agents

You can designate someone else to make a request on your behalf. Email support@petrasecurity.com with proof of the agent's authorization.
